very cool sylvok! I love the light up eyes, I want to see this guy finished!
Do a quick google search for biohazard suits for some coloring ideas!
Post some pix of the finished piece when you get there bud!

As for the paint job I remember seeing some great armor reference from stills of the game Gears of War, could be helpful.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if we start seeing people wearing suits like this in the near future- on a regular basis. que post-apocalyptic music here

just thought i'ld give you all a update on the sculpt
digital camera got stolen so can't upload any pics atm
the sculpture has experienced some slight cracking, not sure if that is just because i over/under baked or the relatives that look with their hands :\
will repair so i can finish painting with my new air brush i was holding out for
